I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House

If the movie were half as good as its title, it would be pretty awesome. As it stands, or lurches, writer/director Osgood Perkins’ second film is an atmospheric slow-burner. By not following standard haunted house tropes, it will thrill or frustrate viewers, depending on how much they like their expectations met.
